We are in a wonderful location for those who enjoy a peaceful holiday with plenty of outdoor activity - on the edge of the village of Llanmadoc, NW Gower.

A short walk down the footpath at the side of the house leads to miles of secluded beach at Whiteford Sands and a National Trust nature reserve with an abundance of bird life, wildlife and plants, including rare orchids.

Within Gower the more energetic can ride, surf, play golf, and even learn to fly! The less energetic can enjoy excellent pubs and restaurants. Additional activities such as theatre, galleries, cinema and shopping can be found in Swansea, a twenty-five minute car ride away.

Guests are welcome to stroll around the garden and make use of the hot tub, barbecue area and orchard. Although children and pets are not permitted, horses are welcome and stables and paddocks are available.

The Visit Wales grading assessor said this about our cottages in 2013:

“Cwm Ivy Court is a group of four individually presented barn conversions set on the edge of Llanmadoc village.  The cottages are scattered within the extensive, beautifully presented grounds which offer a number of private seating areas.  The owners take great pride in the cottages and have carefully furnished and styled the cottages to ensure that each property is different.  Luxurious extras such as the Welsh wool and alpaca blankets  are a lovely touch which I’m sure the guests appreciate.  Once again, Cwm Ivy Court were winners of the Wales in Bloom in 2012”.

We have a new hot tub, a certificate of excellence with Trip advisor and extensive prize winning gardens on the Millennium Coastal Path.
